If you have placed your order on-line, we will quickly send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order. The email confirmation will be produced automatically so that you have confirmation of your order details. The fact that you receive an automatic confirmation does not necessarily mean that we will be able to meet your order.
We try to make sure that the prices on our website are accurate but we will need to validate the price before we process your order. If we are unable to supply a particular item which you have ordered or if the correct price for an item is different from the price on your order, we will notify you as soon as we can after receiving your order. If this happens, you may cancel your order and we will refund you any money which you have paid.
The prices on our website will remain valid until such time as we decide to alter them.
You will be notified of shipping and tax costs automatically before you submit your credit card details.
You can pay by any Visa, MasterCard, American Express credit card or by Maestro, Solo or Delta debit card. For UK orders we will also accept cheques and postal orders. To ensure that shopping on-line is secure, your credit/debit details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of someone being able to read your details as they are sent to us over the Internet.
All 'Made to Order' items require payment of a deposit. The deposit is usually 30% of the total item cost. If you wish to order one of these items we will require a credit or debit card number to cover the deposit. We will inform you by email when 'made to order' items are ready to be despatched to you. These items will not be despatched until we have received the balance of payment.
The prices displayed on our website are in British pounds but you may use our "currency converter" to estimate the price of goods in other currencies. The "currency converter" is intended as a guide only and does not accurately reflect current exchange rates.
We currently debit money from your account within seven days after we have received your order.
You have the right to cancel your order at any time up until 7 days after the date on which you receive the goods. We can deliver goods to destinations within and outside the UK.
Each product on our website has a link which tells you the usual despatch time for that item. Actual delivery times are dependent upon the carrier but are usually within 3 days after despatch from our premises for UK orders and within 10 days for the rest of the world. Please refer to specific delivery links on our website for more details about despatch times.
We will make every effort to deliver within the time stated on our website but we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery. If the goods are not delivered within the delivery time which we quote for that item, please contact us by telephone or email. We will try to ensure that you receive your order as quickly as possible, or if you wish you may cancel your order and we will refund you any money which you have paid.
Value Added Tax (VAT) is payable on most items delivered to addresses within the European Union (current rate is 20.0%). Any tax payable will be calculated automatically as you add items to your 'shopping basket'. Please note that VAT, when applicable, is also payable on Packaging and Shipping charges.
The purchaser is responsible for paying any import duties levied by their own country.
We believe that you will be delighted with your product but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item. We aim to keep the process as simple as possible.

You can return your order in its original condition to Scottishquality.com returns, Denebola, Isleornsay, Isle of Skye IV43 8QS, Scotland within 30 days of the date on which you receive it. You will be responsible for the item or items until they reach us. For your own protection, we suggest you use a secure delivery method which requires a signature upon delivery. If you return the product in its original condition, we will refund you any money which you have paid us for that product within 30 days of our receiving it. All you pay for is the return carriage of the goods. If you return an item to us which is faulty, which you did not order or for any other reason which is our fault, we will also pay you the cost of the return carriage. If this happens, please telephone us first and we will let you know how you should send the item to us.
Goods to the UK may incur duty charges if you fail to make it clear that the package is a "return" to the UK and not an import. In the event of documentation being completed incorrectly and tax or duty subsequently being charged to Scottishquality.com, the sum involved will be deducted from your final refund.
'Made to Order' items, i.e. goods made to a customer's personal specifications, cannot be returned unless they are damaged or faulty. Please note that we cannot refund the deposit on a 'Made to Order' item unless:
we have taken longer to deliver the item than was stated on our website at the time of purchase, or
We will not be responsible for any losses resulting from your use or the inability to use our website or resulting from unauthorised access to, or alteration of your transmissions or data in circumstances which are beyond our control.
We will not be responsible for your loss of profits, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data or any other loss which does not directly result from something we have done wrong.
We make no promise that our website will be uninterrupted or entirely error free. Because of the nature of the Internet, the shopping online service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not responsible to you if we are unable to provide our Internet services for any reason beyond our control.
