After graduating in textile design from Glasgow School of Art, inspiration came suddenly to Gill one evening over dinner with her significant other, Tom. Teacakes! Irn-Bru! Plain loaves! It was time to marvel at these icons of Scottish popular culture, and the GK brand was born.
