Wondering how to make that gift really unique? We offer a Scottish Gaelic translation service. So, why not let us translate your chosen engraving text into the original language of the Scots.
We have secured the translation services of the eminent Scottish Gaelic scholar Farquhar MacLennan (Fearchar MacGill-Fhinnein), a native speaker and teacher of the language, born on the Isle of Raasay. Mr MacLennan's skill and experience are second to none, so you can be sure that the translation will be accurate and succinct.
Please note there is a minimum charge of £10 for this service, plus 90p per word. Gaelic translation is also available as part of our engraving service for certain items. Please see individual items for details.
Context is very important in Gaelic - a phrase can have multiple meanings depending on the situation in which it's being used. Please use the 'Notes' box to provide any info about the situation for which the translation is being used. This will aid us in us in speeding up the translation process.
