The Gaelic Whiskies are produced by Praban na Linne, a small whisky company based on the Isle of Skye. Their exclusive blends and malts are extraordinary in their quality. They include brands made by the old traditional methods, without chilling or filtering the proteins from the whisky during distillation. This means the whisky can go cloudy when cold but the improvement in smoothness and flavour far outweighs the compromise in appearance. You won’t find this whisky in your local store.
For those who prefer a lighter blended whisky, Mac na Mara (son of the sea) is biscuit-like with a touch of mint on the nose and has a slightly oily palate with a citrus tang.
Connoiseurs Unchilfiltered Blend. This Gold Medal award winning whisky contains quality Islay, Island, Highland and Speyside malts aged from 8 - 11 years.
